Mater Media is part of the team that raised funds for a major motion picture about the life of world renowned survivor, speaker, and energizer, John O'Leary.
The title is ON FIRE, based on John’s bestselling book. John was burned over 100% of his body at the age of nine, and given a one percent chance of surviving. Through the grace of God, medical miracle treatments, and inspirational encouragement from the legendary St. Louis sportscaster Jack Buck, John not only survived, but has knocked life out of the park ever since. He went on to become a loving husband, a devoted father, and an incredible international speaker and author who has inspired more than 2,000,000 people in 30 countries.

Many consider it to be the most powerful and effective pro-life movie ever made. Mater Media co-sponsored two private donor screenings before the film’s release, generating more than $60,000. The funds were used to purchase 6,000 movie tickets at nine St. Louis-area theaters. Mater Media's grassroots efforts made St. Louis the film's top-grossing market.
